Molecular profiling data has seen an explosion in recent years, but storage and management of this data has not kept up. One of the main barriers in healthcare and health research is that data reside in silos that do not communicate with one another and are often manually curated. Using Blockchain technology for healthcare data has the potential to streamline data-sharing between researchers, while also giving patients oversight of their own data.
