Dr. Zsuzsanna Hollander has over 15 years of biomarker development experience. In her current role of Chief Data Officer, she is responsible for the overall data management within the PROOF Centre. This includes the development of procedures for data governance, monitoring, analysis, mining, and lifecycle management. She is also managing the chronic obstructive pulmonary disease program, data-driven projects, and service contracts. In her previous role of Data and Informatics Manager at the PROOF Centre and Data Mining Analyst for the Biomarkers in Transplantation project Zsuzsa analyzed genomic, proteomic, metabolomic and clinical data sets using machine learning methods.

Zsuzsa obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economic Informatics at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies in Romania and pursued a BSc followed by a MSc degree in Computer Science at the University of British Columbia. In 2013 she obtained her PhD in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of British Columbia. As of 2010, she is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
