Kang is a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Bradley Quon at St. Paul’s Hospital. He graduated from Shanghai Ocean University, Shanghai, China, in 2014 with a bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and completed a Master’s degree in Bioengineering at Temple University, Philadelphia, USA, in 2016.

Kang is interested in applying high dimensional biological datasets for biomarkers and therapeautic targets discovery and disease phenotyping. His current research aims to include identifying blood protein and transcript biomarkers to predict pulmonary exacerbations in cystic fibrosis.
